Last week you discovered what bags Louis Vuitton had to offer as far as their new Monogram Eclipse bags were concerned, which included everything from iconic classics to new styles given the Black/Greytreatment, which have been a hit since the day they launched. Today we turn our attention to the essentials we will use most every day, the small leather goods (or SLGs) that are as handsome as it gets when it comes to the vast array available now from this collection.
First up, a pair of the larger SLGs (shown above) that are big for a good reason. On the left, we’ve got the Pochette Voyage MM (SGD960), a 26 cm by 20 cm zip clutch that’s trimmed with cowhide leather on the top. Small as it might sound, it’s actually pretty roomy, and you can fit a lot in, wallet, mobile charger, keys, mints and then some.
On the right is the Zippy XL Wallet, for those who have too much to carry around on any given day, or (and more seriously), the perfect travel wallet. What’s on the inside? Well, for starters, 16 credit card slots, 3 gusseted compartments and 2 flat compartments for cash and receipts. Then there’s the extra large coin compartment, and even a pocket on the inside that will fit most smartphones, which is always a bonus. And when it’s priced at SGD1710, you really can’t argue with that, especially when it comes with so much on the inside.

Next we’ve got the 4 more SLGs that are truly everyday essentials. From the iPad Cover Box (SGD1710) that keeps your iPad safe along with 12 credit slots on the inside, it’s like the perfect mini workbag on the go, assuming of course you’re one who works extensively on the go.
Classics in their own right, here are the 3 wallets (from the left to right) that no man I know will not mind owning, from the Pocket Organiser (SGD455) to the Multiple Wallet (SGD670) and of course, theBrazza Wallet (SGD830). One’s a card case (with a flap), the other’s your standard classic billfold and lastly, the long wallet for those who believe in more is more.

And to round up the collection, here are some accompanying pieces you could consider if you’re all about the matchy-matchy when it comes to the things you own. From your standard keychain (SGD455) that you could attached your car (or house) keys to, to the 16 cm by 11 cm Box Clutch (SGD1350) that’s sort of your tiny wallet on the go (think lunch bag, but for boys), complete with credit card slots and flat pockets for cash.
Then there’s the Ribbon Cardholder Box and the Ribbon Cardholder, which I think will be extremely useful for those who work in corporate environments that require keycard access from point to point. Priced from SGD505, you can pick them all out now at Louis Vuitton boutiques across Singapore. On his many travels, Gaston-Louis Vuitton used to collect hotel and airline stickers, and always took a fascination to the labels on luggages and trunks he saw, as he felt it was telling of the owner and the adventures they had been on. It was this spirit of wanderlust that was the main inspiration behind the new Louis Vuitton Monogram World Tour Collection.
Creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere has transposed this tradition of travel stickers on the classic Louis Vuitton Monogram icons, from its classic city bag Speedy to the LV55 watch and the Pégase suitcase. The stickers feature dynamic cosmopolitan cities like Tokyo, Paris and Milan, or paintings from the Hyper Realistic Movement. This collection is a fun, playful take on the classic Monogram series and a great way to pay homage to the design house’s long-standing association with travel. Head up to our gallery to check out the new collection up close!

You’ve already seen the first few pieces from this collection, now see the rest from Louis Vuitton’s Monogram World Tour collection. Yes, that’s the official name of this festive range of bags and SLGs, inspired by founder Gaston Louis Vuitton’s love of hotel and airline stickers which he collected whilst on his own travels. You’ll be familiar with the bags and SLGs too, all icons in their own right that Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière has chosen for this animated and fun line that’s just perfect for Christmas.
Now comes the next most important question. How much? Well, I’ve got all the prices here for you, so all you really need to do is to decide if the recipient has been naughty, or nice. And if anyone’s been wondering, I’ve been really nice all year. So there.
First up (from left to right), we’ve got the Monogram World Tour Zippy Wallet (SGD1230), then the Monogram World Tour Pochette Felicie(SGD1430) that actually comes with 2 extra SLGs on the inside that can be used together or separate from the bag, one a zip pouch, another a flat pocket card case that comes with 8 credit card slots. Last but not least, there’s the Monogram World Tour Sarah Wallet (SGD1100), which happens to be a favourite amongst many, by the way.

Next we’ve got the ‘big guns’, starting with the Monogram World Tour Speedy30 Bandouliere (SGD2330), the Monogram World Tour Neverfull MM(SGD2110) which incidentally comes with a black trim (very Monogram Macassar, if you ask me), with the Monogram World Tour Alma BB(SGD2010) rounding up the montage.

Finally, another look at some of the icons given the Monogram World Tourtreatment, because everything looks better on pink, right? Besides the 6 I’ve just featured, other bags that you’ll find ‘stickered’ include theKeepall50 Bandouliere (SGD3100) with vachetta or black trim, the Toiletry Pouch26 (SGD645), the Nano Speedy (SGD1510), as well as other accessories like scarves and key rings to complete the look.
Louis Vuitton has once again featured funky stickers on their iconic handbags for their Fall/Winter 2016 Collection. The World Tour Stickers presents a variety of patches like Louis Vuitton logo, cars, and flamingos. These stickers can be seen on Louis Vuitton’s famous handbags. These includes City Streamer in Veau Satin leather, Speedy, Petite Malle and Twist in Epi Leather, all in black color. It will also be available in Monogram Canvas bags including Speedy, Alma, Neverfull, Petite Malle, Palm Springs Mini Backpack as well as Travel bags and Small Leather Goods.Louis Vuitton
I like the detailed bag pictures on Louis Vuitton official website. I love it, but they are model pictures and as a dedicated bag addict, I need to see shots from different angles to confirm my crave. And the less Photoshop involvement, the better.
That is why, after publishing a detailed review of the newest Louis Vuitton W BB Tote, I followed up with this post, giving you a better look before making any judgment.
It’s a natural picture, also giving you a clearer indication of what to expect before running into your nearest Louis Vuitton store and get disappointed (or even more excited, either way).
The Veau Cachemire leather is one of the finest – durable and luxurious for the eyes to see. Though small and compact, but perfect for the fashion obsessed girl, I mean the refinement is in the details.
Light and structured, there are always days that you need a smaller bag. This version can be carried with just one hand, but it also comes with a shoulder strap if you need to cross body. The Louis Vuitton W BB Tote can help you shift from day to night, it has all the pockets to store your urgent essentials.
But like what we said in our previous post, you need to adore monogram canvas to understand this style. It’s a statement maker, yes that is what it is.
Measuring 11’ x 7.5’ x 3.9’.Louis Vuitton
Exactly two weeks ago, we informed you about the release of the Louis Vuitton Epi Marly Tote. It’s a gorgeous bag with triangle shape, which also comes with a long shoulder strap and a tag hanging on the handles.
And here’s a clear snap shot, so much prettier than the models picture that we posted earlier on. The light reflects on the beautiful iconic Epi Leather, which is the crucial element to the design. It simply makes everything perfect and balanced.
The bag is well structured and holds shape, it can even stand. It’s is made for the busy woman, who has a tight schedule, the working girl, you can easily fit your A4 document or a laptop.
We have to say that the sides looks a bit like the wings of the Celine Phantom Tote, only that the wings are not expandable. It serves a purpose – to make more room so that you can store more of your essentials.
There are different colors available – black, dark blue, yellow, pink, red purple, fuchsia. Available in two sizes: the MM is measured 16.1’ x 14.2’ x 6.7’ and is priced at $2,810 USD or €1850 euro’s. The BB is measured 13.4’ x 10.6’ x 5.1’Louis Vuitton For one, it’s quite different from bags Louis Vuitton usually puts out, not exactly runway-ready nor is it something that’s covered in monogram. Not that it’s a bad thing either, I see it as a good in-between, and an option well-suited for those not into looking too trendy or too, dare I say, logo-ed.
On the inside, you’ll find compartments galore, from smartphone pockets to those you can slip cash or receipts into, within a textile tone-on-tone interior (in other words, it will be the same colour both inside and out).
Measuring some 22 cm across (it is the smallest in its family of bags, and which also explains the added letters BB on the end), it’s made of soft calf leather and comes with duo slings, one, a long leather one that can be length-adjusted and/or removed, the other, a metallic chain sling that you can use like a top handle (or leave it as a form of decoration).
And if you like what you’re seeing but wish for it to be bigger, there’s also a larger Lockme II which comes in at about 28 cm across, both of which are now available at Louis Vuitton boutiques in Singapore for your kind perusal.
Though they are both called the St Germain, they are shaped and styled a tad differently, the larger of the two known as the MM (shown on the left) which measures 31 cm across by 23 cm, and the smaller PM (shown on the right) that comes in at 28 cm by 16 cm.
Featuring the soft and supple embossed leather that’s the most distinct feature of anything Monogram Empreinte, the slings on both shoulder bags are also adjustable, with gold-toned brass hardware finishing in the form of the S lock clasp. Lined in microfibre, you’ll find a smattering of compartments on the inside of both styles, the MM built with a front pocket and 2 additional compartments, with the PM featuring only one of each, a front pocket and a single compartment.
