Talking about shoes, have you seen these Celine Soft Ballerina’s, which are released for the Summer 2015 Collection. They are flats with a flavor – besides crafted butterly soft, it features a ‘Bell’ on the front. The Bell is designed in vintage gold, which fits perfectly to the theme of this collection.
They are easy to wear, made with impeccable craftsmanship and built from nappa lambskin. They come in different colors like white, brown and burgundy. Priced at €550 euro’s, available at Celine boutique.
Having personally seen these sneakers just yesterday while I was in Kuala Lumpur for Dior’s F/W14 press presentation, I can safely say this. They are the oddest womens sneakers I’ve seen in a really long while, and while that might sound offensive, it’s not. Because it’s human nature to hate on something just because you aren’t familiar with it doesn’t mean it’s bad, it just means you need to be more open and get to know it better, which is what you’ll need to do with the Fusion Sneakers from Dior.
A combination of high couture and functional athleticism, they are as comfortable as they are beautiful, each pair a result of hours and hours of detailed craftsmanship, from the crafting of the rubber soles that are formed in the machine to the delicate embroidery that goes into each pair, embellished with tiny blooms before the sneaker is sewn together by hand.
Still not convinced? Have a look at the making-of video and see how they are put together from start to finish. Available in at least 5 different colour combinations, the sneakers should be available in Singapore come mid-July and retailing for SGD1600 a pair. Which might seem like a lot I know, but when you compare that to the amount of dedication that goes into each pair (and the comfort it would bring despite running around in them all day), it doesn’t seem that expensive at the end of the day.

I love Louboutin’s model pictures; it doesn’t show the face but the shoes. Here you see a model carrying a pair of sophisticated pumps from the latest collection. It shows elegant, classy and confident.
The shoe is named the Christian Louboutin Confusa Pumps, besides the 100mm heels and the ultra chic colombe nappa laminao, it also features labyrinthine leather laces all the way to the top. Mixed with the colors gold and beige, refined with the brand’s famous red-soles, these shoes are absolutely to-die-for.
Pair it with your evening dress or for the night-outs, from the Spring Summer 2015 Collection, priced at $1,195 USD at Christian Louboutin e-store.

It’s a lot of fun to shop around for boots once fall and winter roll around, but the real fun begins when you’re bringing out your favorite clothes for the warm seasons. And of course you’ll need some new shoesto celebrate the occasion. Flats are the perfect route for your everyday spring/summer wardrobe, and are often right on par with the trending bohemian styles. But they can also be worn with just about anything you want! So, to celebrate the upcoming spring and summer months, here is a list of 10 pairs of fabulous flats for summer 2016 you’ll want to snag up to complete your closet.
1. Miu Miu Ballet Flats
These are a take on ballet flats, so perfect and feminine. They use a juxtaposition of leather and satin to play on the idea of the classic ballet flat. The satin ribbons lace up around the ankles to add a delicacy, but they are detachable so you can customize your balance between the soft and hard styles. These were worn on Miu Miu’s punk-inspired collection from spring 2016, in black or gingham.
2. Denim Espadrilles with Embroidery
A good pair of espadrilles can liven your whole spring/summer wardrobe. They look cute and are easy to slip on and wear for any casual occasion. These flats are fun with the addition of the French “oui” and “non” on a fabric resembling denim. The woven soles contrast nicely, and should definitely be on your list for the upcoming warm weather.
3. Woven Leather Sandals
These sandals, also from ASOS, are made of 100% real leather. Dyed a chic mint-green, the way the woven leather laces up around the ankles gives a sporty appearance. So, this is another more casual pair of flats for SS 2016, but these, being open-toed sandals, do have the potential to be dressed up a bit more, at your own discretion, of course.
4. Ankle-Fastened Gianvito Rossi Ballet Flats
you can find these classic ballet flats by Gianvito Rossi. They are made of a smooth suede and are tied off at the ankle by an elegant bow. This is a great addition to your wardrobe, since it could easily become your year-round go-to pair of flats. The lovely wine red color only adds to its beauty! The color makes it ideal for winter, while the form of the shoe is perfect for any time you deem fit.
5. Buckled Gladiator Sandals
These gladiator sandals are easy to slip on, despite how it might initially appear. There is a simple zipper up the back, so you don’t need to worry about the buckles at all. The buckles now only need be a decorative aspect, and contribute to the classic gladiator appeal. This is a great casual shoe for your summer wardrobe, and is one style that is only increasing in popularity, especially for bohemian trends, which goes right along with Free People’s design aesthetic, which is where these sandals can be found. The one word of caution here would be to keep the potential tan lines in mind!
6. Sporty Lace-Up Sandals
These lace-up sandals from ASOS are made of 100% leather, and the cords lacing up around the ankle become rather sporty. The laces are made long enough so you can play around with the length, so with this pair of sandals you might be able to wear them a few different ways. The cutouts make for an interesting visual, but are not so loud as to drown out the rest of your outfit. These sandals will serve as an outfit supporter, not as a focal piece, so they make great shoes for everyday use.
7. Laced Stuart Weitzman Suede Flats
Here is one pair of close-toed flats that uses aspects from other lace-up sandals in its design. The cords wrapping up the ankle mixed with the genuine suede and full foot coverage, the final product is quirky indeed. Stuart Weitzman’s flats, aren’t made for everyone, but for the woman who finds these irresistible will want to wear them with anything, from casual denim outfits to cute and flirty sundresses. The possibilities are endless with these quirky shoes!
8. Barely-There Lace-Ups
If there’s one thing Forever 21 knows how to do, it’s taking trending styles and making them simple and beautiful – and cheaper, of course! There’s not much to these lace-up sandals, and that’s just what we like about them. They’re interesting enough to make a statement without overpowering, and they are delicate in their simplicity, adding a subtle level of elegance, but the toe loop still allows for an extra ounce of support and stability. They are available in black and rust colors, and if you’re looking for a barely-there pair of sandals to wear with your favorite pair of denims or your fun bohemian dress, this is a great pair to consider.
9. Quirky Scalloped Lace-Ups
This pair of flats is another quirky set. The polyester shoes are made to look like leather, which makes them so much easier to care for already, and the pale blue only makes them more interesting. The scalloped edges and pointed toes make these a little less casual then they otherwise would be, but the possibilities tend to remain the same. You could wear this with denim or dresses, and it will still add a little push of quirky sophistication. All of this while still getting in the go-to lace-up design without being fully enclosed around your foot.
10. Strappy Leather Lace-Ups
This style of sandal from Free People is about as basic as you can get. Straps of leather are tied up around the ankle as well as over your toes to keep everything secure and comfortable. All of the bells and whistles of some of the other styles are fun and fabulous additions to your wardrobe, but something all you need is a little bit of simplicity to really round things out. And even still, you can add a bit of flair with the color, as these are available in a few fun colors alongside the staple brown, tan, and black; so really, it’s up to whatever you want in your wardrobe, while still getting the great basic appeal.
We love filling you in on the latest footwear trends and what's new every season, but there are so designs that stand the test of time, no matter the year or the season's prevailing trends. Most brands have a signature shoe or two that keeps sales coming while they experiment with new things, and those favorites also help build consumer loyalty. Shoes that successfully transition from seasonal to classic all have elements of traditionalism to them, but they also incorporate a hint of modernity that makes them distinct. Of course, I alone can not determine if something has become a classic--only the shoppers can.
We've paid close attention to popular demand over the past several seasons, and below you'll find the designs that make up the latest class of New Classics. Can they eventually become iconic? Only time will tell.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SO KATE PUMPS
Christian Louboutin's So Kate pumps gained instant traction when they debuted in 2013. (I know from experience how popular they were immediately--it took me weeks to find an all black pair in my size.) The brand thrives on its basic styles, like the Pigalle and the Iriza, but it's the So Kate's high pitch and ultra-thin heel that make this shoe an instant classic (and maybe the sexiest stiletto on the market).

CHLOÉ SUSANNA STUDDED NUBUCK ANKLE BOOTS
Before the Chloé Drew and the Chloé Faye, there was the Chloé Susanna Studded Boot. The Susanna doesn't entirely hold true to the brand's boho-chic aesthetic, but the sustained consumer interest for this edgy-but-polished boot makes it easy to see why it's a new classic.

SAINT LAURENT SIGNATURE RANGERS STUDDED BOOTS
We all know a Tribute Sandal when we see one, but the brand's current period has been defined by its tough-looking boots.

ISABEL MARANT ÉTOILE DICKER SUEDE ANKLE BOOT
Isabel Marant is the epitome of Parisian cool, and for a while, it felt like everything Isabel Marant touched was golden. This is one of the brand's most recognizable styles, and its downtown-cool appeal will make you want to wear ankle boots in the middle of the summer.

VALENTINO ROCKSTUD CHUNKY-HEEL SANDAL
We asked for input on whether Rockstuds are a classic, but popular demand proves that Rockstuds are making their way to classic, even icon, status. The brand knows a good thing when they have it.

MANOLO BLAHNIK CHAOS LEATHER ANKLE-STRAP SANDAL
The simple sandal that started the craze, the Chaos Sandal, will be a footwear favorite as long as sandal season is around. It's the perfect example as to why less is really more.

GUCCI PRINCETOWN LEATHER HORSEBIT MULE SLIPPER
After Alessandro Michele's short time at Gucci, he already has one rising star on his hand. The Mule Slipper has been well received by both consumers and it quickly became a social media hit. This mule exemplifies the new direction Gucci is taking and we have a feeling we'll be seeing different variations of this mule for seasons to come.

GIANVITO ROSSI BICOLOR PATENT CAP-TOE PUMP
Timeless should be the word used to describe the aesthetic of Gianvito Rossi. The designer makes it hard to resist neutral and PVC.
